Kidnapping Hits Close to Home

An attempted kidnapping occurred today in a local school. Larenzo Muno (kidnapper) took Jerry Perez captive early this morning and began a stand off that would involve police, media, and a desperate mother. In the picture to the right is Jerry Perez (captive) being fought over in a tug-of-war of sorts between Larenzo Muno (kidnapper) and Mary Covan (captives mother).








During the attempted kidnapping, several police officers were directing all media attempting to gain any kind of access to the events. To the left you can see an unidentified officer attempting to prevent any media access.
